Studio Spotlight: NicoleB Beauty Studio

This month our Studio Spotlight is on Brittny Hardrick, Owner of NicoleB Beauty Studio located in The Lofts Salon Studios in Farmington Hills, MI. Brittny specializes in healthy hair care and especially loves doing silk press and color services. She has been in the industry for 15 years and has been interested in beauty since she was just 4 years old! What do you love most about being an Independent beauty professional and being your own boss?

“What I love most is setting my own schedule, I’m a mom and my son comes first. So being able to adjust my schedule to still be able to attend activities he has going on. I also love the overall freedom I am able to have.”

In your opinion, what are the benefits of independent salon ownership vs working at traditional salons?

“I would say being able to be creative and express yourself. You can design your space to represent who YOU are versus having to adapt to a salon community.”

What do you love most about The Lofts?

“I love how inviting it is. Management is amazing. I love that its woman owned, I feel very at home here. The community is very friendly and it was very easy to transition.”
